“ I like the food here at Asiatic Thai Cuisine - was there a while back and would say the food is delicious, fresh and service is good. We ordered quite a lot of items, and would say our favorite would be the gengsom fish, green curry and the miangkam fish. The otak otak is good as well as the gung orb woon sen (the claypot glass noodle with prawn). The squid in lime sauce is OK but I think I probably prefer if it was fish instead. Parking is convenient at the restaurant. Only draw back I would say is there is not many options if you are dining alone. ”

“ We had a wonderful dinner at Asiatic Thai Cuisine in Alor Setar. The restaurant serves a wide variety of Thai dishes, and overall the flavors were very enjoyable. Most of the dishes here lean toward a sweeter taste profile compared to what we usually have in Thailand, but everything was well-prepared and tasty. The highlights for me were: Stir-fried chicken with salted egg – absolutely delicious, crispy yet rich in flavor, and something I would definitely order again. Stir-fried vegetables with shrimp – fresh, crunchy, and flavorful. Steamed curry (Hor Mok) – not too spicy, creamy, and nicely balanced. Clams with lime, chili, and pepper – this was unique and surprising! I’ve never had this version before, but it was refreshing and worth trying. Mango sticky rice – the mango had a slightly different aroma compared to Thailand, but still paired well with the sweet coconut sticky rice. The food presentation was attractive, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly. A good spot if you want to enjoy Thai food in Malaysia with some interesting local twists. --- ”

“ First night arrived in Alor Setar, raining heavily & we stumbled upon this eatery in the middle of nowwhere. The moment we entered the restaurant it was crowded with people & we know we had made the right choice. We had Fish Mieng Kham, Sambal Petai, Japanese Tofu & Seafiod Tomyam. The portion for 2 pax is huge but surprisingly we can finished it all. Bonus points with friendly service with smiles too make us feel welcomed. ”
